Bitget, the world's first Universal Exchange (UEX), has introduced eight new CFD instruments, expanding users' access to commodity markets and regional equity benchmarks alongside its existing crypto and traditional financial products.
The new listings include Aluminium (XALUSD), Zinc (XZNUSD), Lead (XPBUSD) and Low Sulphur Gasoil (GASOIL). The four equity indices are the Hang Seng TECH Index (HSTECH), Taiwan RIC Index (TWRICC), Netherlands 25 Index (NETH25) and Switzerland 20 Index (SWI20).
The additions cover markets across Asia and Europe, allowing traders to take positions based on movements in industrial commodities, energy prices and regional stock markets.
The expansion comes amid shifting monetary policies, changing industrial demand and evolving economic conditions across major markets.
"Crypto is only one part of what people want to trade today. We're seeing growing interest in commodities, stocks and indices, and our platform needs to reflect that," Bitget CEO Gracy Chen said. "These eight additions give traders more ways to respond to what's happening across global markets. That's the direction we're taking with UEX, bringing more assets and trading opportunities together on Bitget."
Leverage of up to 50x available on selected contracts
The four commodity and energy contracts offer leverage of up to 20x, while the four equity indices support leverage of up to 50x. Traders can open long or short positions, depending on their market outlook.
All eight instruments are available across Bitget CFD's four account modes: ECN, 0% Fee, Pro and Standard+. The configurations are consistent across the account modes, allowing users to select a trading structure according to their preferences.
Bitget said each instrument underwent liquidity assessments and price stability checks before listing. The contracts are integrated into the platform's existing CFD infrastructure.
By extending its CFD offering to industrial metals, energy and regional equity indices, the exchange is broadening the range of markets accessible to users beyond digital assets and major currency pairs.
