October ended for XRP with a drop of almost 19%. The main blow was the $6.3 billion hack of the Binance exchange, which dragged down the entire market. However, the sell-off recorded at the lows activated large buy orders — the current liquidity map points to the formation of local support.
Now the XRP price is squeezed in a narrow corridor around $1.25, testing the boundaries of the local bottom.
What is happening with the quotes right now
CoinGlass derivatives market data shows that the asset has literally been pinned to the floor. At the current rate of $1.2505, the critical level of long liquidations is at the $1.2292 mark. The probability of its test within 24 hours is 54%. From above, the price is held back by a block of short sellers at the $1.4292 level.
At the same time, the market has already been cleared of excessive leverage — $37.6 million in longs were forcibly closed in October.

The TradingView technical picture confirms the importance of the current line. On the weekly chart, XRP is trading right on the key 200-week moving average ($1.25–$1.28) — this is a powerful historical level from which the vertical takeoff began in August. The daily oscillator dropped to the 36.85 mark.
Historically, reaching this oversold zone has always preceded an upward trend reversal.
Additional pressure was exerted by the results of the Ripple Swell conference. The new RLUSD stablecoin takes over the company’s institutional products (including custodial services for Coinbase and Robinhood), which temporarily reduced direct demand for XRP.
Against this background, the assets of U.S. XRP ETFs corrected to $1.42–$1.47 billion solely due to the drop in the price of the token itself, while inflows into the funds froze near zero.
The $1.20–$1.25 range remains the main foundation. The fact that the dump on the Binance news was instantly bought back proves the strength of buyers. If they hold the $1.2292 line and return the price above the daily average at $1.3145, the current marks will become the official bottom.
Conversely, a breakdown of $1.20 will open the way to the August lows around $0.98–$1.00.
