New account creation on the XRP Ledger jumped 142.4%, according to XRPScan data. It points to renewed interest in the ecosystem, even though XRP is still struggling to get its bullish momentum back.
XRPScan counted 7,734 newly activated accounts on November 1, 2026, up 33% from the day before and far above the network's 30-day average of roughly 3,500 new accounts a day.
Wallet creation is clearly speeding up. What's behind it is still unclear.
What's driving XRP Ledger account growth?
There are a few plausible explanations. Interest in tokenized assets, stablecoins, and decentralized finance apps on the XRPL may be pushing people to set up new wallets. Exchange onboarding and automated wallet creation could also be adding to the count.

But more accounts doesn't necessarily mean more users. One person can open several accounts, and automated systems can open many more, so other on-chain indicators are needed to judge real adoption.
XRPScan's history also shows account creation has spiked before, with an all-time high of about 30,600 accounts. The latest jump is well short of that.
XRP price remains under pressure
The network numbers are growing, but the price paints a different picture.
TradingView data from November 2 shows XRP trading near $1.25, after a long correction from its September and October highs. It is still below several major moving averages, so bearish pressure continues to dominate the technical picture.
Immediate support sits around $1.20–$1.25. If XRP tries to recover, the $1.30-$1.35 region could act as resistance.
What comes next for XRP?
Rising account creation alongside falling prices reflects blockchain adoption and market demand, which are not the same thing. Stronger confirmation of growing XRPL adoption would need sustained growth in active addresses, transaction volumes, and general use of the ecosystem.
For now, the 142.4% increase is an encouraging sign of network activity. Whether it turns into real demand for XRP is still an open question.
