Hong Kong is preparing to welcome the second spot Solana ETF ever launched in the region as Solana continues to expand its presence across the global space.
Earlier today, Solana shared details of the new development on its X page, sparking discussions across the crypto ecosystem as institutional interest in Solana investment products is rapidly growing.
Pando releases date for its Solana ETF
Per the report, Pando Finance has officially released the date for the launch of the much anticipated Solana fund amid growing institutional interest.
The launch of the Pando Solana ETF has been scheduled for October 13 and it will take place on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, making it Hong Kong's second spot Solana ETF to ever launch.
While Hong Kong has continued to position itself as a major hub for blockchain technologies, this further expands its growing list of regulated crypto products for investors.
Following the launch, investors will be able to gain exposure to Solana's price through a regulated exchange-traded product without directly holding it.
Spot Solana ETFs eye $2 billion milestone
The potential launch of the Pando Solana ETF has come amid growing demand for Solana ETFs as they continue to increasingly attract new capital.
As of October 12, spot SOL ETFs across the globe now boast about $1.9 billion in net assets, with cumulative net inflows reaching $1.61 billion.
With a new fund about to hit the ecosystem, the spot Solana ETF market might be drawing closer to a $2 billion milestone, although the launch does not guarantee further inflows or price appreciation.
