Publication date: September 28, 2026 · Bitbase Research
TOKEN2049 Singapore 2026 runs on 7 and 8 October at Marina Bay Sands, where the organiser says it is taking over all five floors. Its published target is 25,000+ attendees, the same figure its report on the 2025 edition gave after that event closed, which makes the difference between a target and a result the most useful thing to hold onto while reading anything published before the doors open.
First published on 28 September and updated on 1 October, this guide is limited to what had been published by then, mostly by the organiser: dates, venue, the speaker list, the agenda, tickets, sponsors, side events, and how this edition differs from the last. Every scale figure below is labelled with who published it and whether it came before or after an event.
For the conference itself (who runs it, every edition since 2018 and how its attendance figures are measured), see TOKEN2049: The Web3 Conference Held in Singapore and Dubai, Editions and Attendance.
When and where TOKEN2049 Singapore 2026 takes place
The main conference runs 7–8 October 2026 at Marina Bay Sands, 10 Bayfront Avenue, across all five floors of the Sands Expo & Convention Centre [1][2][22]. The organiser says each conference day runs from 07:30 to 18:00, with networking drinks to 19:30 on the agenda; both days' programmes start at 09:00, and the second day closes with the organiser's closing remarks at 17:55 [5][23]. Tickets arrive by email, and according to the organiser a printed or electronic copy showing the ticket's reference number can be used to register on site [23].
Two days is the whole of the main conference. TOKEN2049 Week runs 5–11 October 2026 and has its own website. The organiser describes the Week as "the year's widest range of meetups, workshops, networking drinks and parties with TOKEN2049 being the flagship event of the week" [3]. Side event counts and satellite conferences belong to that wider window; attendance and speaker counts belong to the two conference days. A figure quoted without saying which of the two it belongs to cannot be placed.
The organiser's Week site also lists the Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix weekend: practice and sprint qualifying on 9 October, the sprint race and Grand Prix qualifying on 10 October, and the night race on 11 October, each listed at $200 to $12,000 and sold through the race organiser's own site rather than by TOKEN2049 [3]. The organiser's official closing party, AFTER 2049, is on 9 October from 19:00 at the Marina Bay Sands SkyPark Observation Deck, headlined by Claptone with Crusy [6].
Who is speaking at TOKEN2049 Singapore 2026
As of 1 October the organiser's speakers page listed 227 speakers across its three pages by our count, while the only total the organiser publishes is its target of 300+ speakers [1][4]. The organiser's terms allow speakers and topics to be substituted, so the list is the one published before the opening, not a guarantee [7].
The organiser's stated emphasis is institutional. Its 6 August release said "Institutional participation will be a major focus of this year's edition, with senior leaders from BlackRock, J.P. Morgan, Morgan Stanley, Nasdaq, NYSE, CME and Franklin Templeton expected across the event" [2]. The confirmed speaker cards include Adena Friedman, chair and chief executive of Nasdaq; Jenny Johnson, chief executive of Franklin Templeton; Nikhil Sharma of BlackRock; Amy Oldenburg of Morgan Stanley; Giovanni Vicioso of CME Group; Timothy Moe of Goldman Sachs; and Cynthia Lo Bessette of Fidelity Investments [4]. No speaker from J.P. Morgan or NYSE was listed as of 1 October.
From the protocol and research side the list includes Lily Liu of the Solana Foundation, Jesse Pollak of Base, Joseph Lubin of Ethereum and MetaMask, Charles Hoskinson of Input Output Group, Jeff Yan of Hyperliquid Labs, Shayne Coplan of Polymarket, Arthur Hayes of Maelstrom, Tom Lee of Fundstrat and BitMine, Raoul Pal of Real Vision and Balaji Srinivasan of The Network State [4]. The Formula 1 drivers Lando Norris and Max Verstappen are on the published speaker list and scheduled on the main stage on 7 October [4][5].
What is on the agenda
The agenda is published in full, and as of 1 October it listed about 150 sessions across the two days [5]. Four stages run on both days, the OKX Main Stage, the BingX Labs Stage, the MEXC Stage and the Bit Digital Stage, and a fifth, the Institutional Stage, hosts 12 of those sessions on 8 October only; the programme is organised by stage and session type rather than by track [5]. The organiser's 6 August release had promised "new tracks and formats in the coming weeks"; what appeared was a set of formats rather than tracks [2][5].
The main stage on 7 October opens with Balaji Srinivasan on "The Open Source Network State", and before lunch it has separate sessions from Tom Lee, Jeff Yan and Arthur Hayes, and one from Raoul Pal on "The Exponential Age". On 8 October it opens with "The New Institutional Market: Tokenized Assets. Global Liquidity. Onchain Settlement" with Jenny Johnson, includes a fireside chat with Nasdaq chief executive Adena Friedman at 14:00, and has a session on tokenisation with Fidelity Investments, Bitwise, BlackRock, Morgan Stanley and ICE in the afternoon [5].
TOKEN2049 Institutional is a private gathering on 8 October at Marina Bay Sands for senior leaders in finance and digital assets, "primarily MD level and above", in partnership with Solana, with attendance individually reviewed and confirmed by invitation [8]; the organiser's stated capacity is 200 individually approved participants [23], and the Special Access Pass lists access to it among its benefits [11].
Two competitions run inside the programme. Origins, a 36-hour hackathon in its second edition, runs from 6 to 8 October with a $150,000 prize pool; its applications have closed [2][9]. NEXUS, the startup competition, is judged by Tom Schmidt of Dragonfly, Akshat Vaidya of Maelstrom and Spencer Applebaum of Multicoin Capital, has published its ten finalists, chosen from 1,000+ applicants according to the organiser, and carries a $250,000 prize pool [10][23].
The Week site lists several independently ticketed conferences: Digital Asset Summit Asia on 7 October at $699 to $2,199, Sui Basecamp on 7 and 8 October at $299, noted as included for TOKEN2049 badge holders, Stablecoin Summit on 8 October at $500 to $750 and Vault Summit on 9 October at $500 to $750 [3]. It also lists the Milken Institute Asia Summit on 7 to 9 October, the invitation-only Forbes Global CEO Conference on 7 and 8 October, and a Network State Conference on 9 October [3].
How to check a side event. The organiser describes TOKEN2049 Week as a programme of independently hosted meetups, workshops, summits, networking drinks, sport and parties, with the full directory on the Week site [23][3]. As of 1 October that site listed close to 400 events between 5 and 11 October, most of them free to register. A listing there is not by itself a sign that TOKEN2049 runs or endorses an event: the site shows no visible verification badge, only a "Featured Event" label that hosts request from the organiser's sponsorship team, and most events take registration through their own pages, so the host and venue named there are what to check [3]. Disclosure: Bitbase has announced that it sponsors three independently organised side events during the Week, each listed on its own event page [13][14][15], and hosts a fourth, ONWARD, on 9 October [16]; none is organised by TOKEN2049, and as of 1 October Bitbase did not appear on TOKEN2049's official pages.
How to attend
As of 1 October the official ticketing page listed two passes, the Last Bird at $699 and the Special Access Pass at $4,999, under the heading "Final Tickets Remaining"; the organiser described them as the final release and had not announced a sell-out [11][23]. Payment is by card in US dollars or in crypto through MoonPay Commerce, and the organiser's terms state that tickets are non-refundable [11][7].
The Last Bird covers all stages and sessions, the exhibition, all-day hospitality and daily networking drinks, and it includes complimentary access to Sui Basecamp [11]. The Special Access Pass adds priority access, the speakers reception, a Special Access Evening powered by Ferrari, access to TOKEN2049 Institutional and guaranteed after-party access [11]. The organiser's page for that pass says it stretches the week to four days, from 6 to 9 October [21]. Other Week events are ticketed by their own organisers or free to register.
One route in is specific to this year. The Dubai edition planned for April 2026 was postponed to 21–22 April 2027, and the organiser's notice lets Dubai ticket holders transfer to Singapore 2026; the organiser says tickets not transferred carry forward to Dubai in 2027 [12]. The organiser has also listed discounted flights with Singapore Airlines and hotel rates through TravelSwap, without publishing prices [22].
On the commercial side, co-founder Alex Fiskum said in the 6 August release that "more than 70% of the exhibition floor" was "already secured" [2]. That is a proportion stated two months before the event, not a headcount. The organiser structures sponsorship in Title, Platinum, Gold and Silver tiers, alongside card, institutional, lifestyle, media, community and affiliate partnerships [23]; the organiser's partners page on 1 October showed 187 sponsor logos in the four main tiers by our count: 6 Title, 13 Platinum, 56 Gold and 112 Silver [24]. The organiser had not published an exhibitor list; its app, for registered attendees only, carries an interactive floor plan with exhibitor booths [23].
What is different about this edition
The most instructive comparison this year is between two sets of numbers that look identical and mean different things. The organiser's report on the 2025 edition, published after it closed, gave over 25,000 attendees, 500+ exhibitors, 1,000+ side events, 7,000+ companies and 300+ speakers [17]. The organiser's published figures for 2026 are 25,000+ attendees, 500+ exhibitors, 1,000+ side events, 7,000+ companies and 300+ speakers, every one of them a pre-event target [1].
The first set is a result and the second a target, and the fact that they match makes the two easier to confuse, not harder. Attendance reported after an edition is available on the same measure for only two Singapore editions: 20,000 attendees in 2024 and over 25,000 in 2025, both from the organiser's post-event reporting [18][17]. The organiser's 10,000+ for 2023 was a count of attendees "already confirmed" six days before that edition, a pre-event measure [19].
Side event counts need the same care. The organiser's counts after the event were 800+ in 2024 and 1,000+ in 2025 [18][17]; the figures for 2022 and 2023, 150+ and 400+, were published before those editions [20][19]. The 2026 figure of 1,000+ is a target.
Several changes are documented on both sides. The 2026 agenda has no TON Stage, which the 2025 programme had, and adds a Bit Digital Stage [17][5]. The Special Access evening moves from Audemars Piguet in 2025 to Ferrari in 2026, and AFTER 2049 moves from Mind Against to Claptone [17][11][6]. Origins raises its prize pool from $100,000 to $150,000, and the NEXUS judging panel now includes Multicoin Capital in place of Pantera [17][9][10]. In 2025 the organiser reported that Lando Norris, Fernando Alonso and Oliver Bearman joined the event; in 2026 Norris and Verstappen are on the published speaker list [17][4]. And with the Dubai edition moved to 2027, Fiskum said in August that "our full focus this year is on Singapore" [2].
